I need help with my addiction. What do I do?

Please call 800-447-1348 to set up a no-cost assessment. At your appointment, a clinician will help determine the best level of care for your treatment. When you arrive for your appointment, please remember to bring a Photo ID, insurance card and contact information for your primary care physician, probation officer, therapist, family members or friends you would like to be involved in your care.

I need help for a family member. What do I do?

Please call 800-447-1348 to set up a no cost, level of care assessment. We are also open 24/7 for walk-in appointments. Patients should bring a Photo ID, insurance card and contact information for those who are involved in their care. When you bring your family member in, be prepared for a potential inpatient stay. See What to Bring for a recommended packing list.

How much does it cost?

We accept most major insurance as well as Medicaid, HIP, Medicare, and TRICARE®. We have ClaimAid available Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A licensed Indiana navigator will walk through the cost on the level of care that you require.

How long is an inpatient stay?

A typical stay is three to seven days but can vary depending on the symptom severity. Our inpatient acute services are for stabilization only. Valle Vista offers step down into Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Therapy or Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment. If residential care is needed, when you are discharged you will be given referral sources to assist you if more extended treatment is required.

What can I expect during an inpatient stay?

Your treatment depends on the level of care needed per patient. A typical day might include group therapy, life skills development, doctor consultations, potential medication-assisted treatment, and discharge planning to other resources as needed.

What if I use tobacco products?

Valle Vista Health System is a non-smoking facility for inpatient stays. If you would need assistance we offer nicotine replacement treatment.

What do I bring?

Please see the What to Bring page for the packing list and a list of things not allowed in the facility.

How will I contact my family?

Your family is given a confidential patient ID number. When they call the facility, they must provide the ID to connect with you. There is a phone in each unit that patients are able to use during certain hours. Visiting hours are also given to family members.
