Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Valle Vista Health System offers short-term, outpatient treatment for adults who don’t need around-the-clock care or the concentrated treatment of PHP, but still need help in an outpatient setting.

Supportive Adult Outpatient Programs

In addition to IOP mental health services for adults, we also offer adult PHP mental health services as well. The adult PHP can be a “step down” from an inpatient hospital setting. Enrollment for adult PHP is usually two weeks, but can vary based on patient needs.

For those enrolled in our adult PHP, patients meet Monday through Friday and hours can vary. Looking for more information on adult PHP? Don’t hesitate to give us a call at 800-447-1348 or contact us online.

Outpatient Treatment for Adult Substance Abuse

Getting help from an adult substance abuse intensive outpatient program can be daunting, but your life will be better for it. We offer a substance use disorder-specific intensive outpatient program for adults that takes into account your specific needs to get you the help you need and work on improvement.

Our Substance Use Disorder focus track includes education on alcoholism and prescription or illicit drug abuse, relapse prevention and therapy facilitated by a licensed substance abuse counselor.

According to the National Care for Drug Abuse Statistics, drug overdose deaths in the US since 2000 are nearing one million.

The staff at Valle Vista Health System understands the growing need for addiction treatment within our community. Our adult substance use disorder program provides an outpatient setting to help patients 18 years old and older who are struggling with an addiction.

The Continuum of Care

Studies show that the longer individuals remain connected to treatment and the support system provided by a treatment program the more positive the outcome and the less likely patients will relapse.

Valle Vista Health System offers multiple levels of care in order to serve our patients, no matter what their needs may be. We want to meet you where you are and provide outpatient and inpatient treatment services that meet your needs.

That’s why in addition to intensive outpatient services, we also offer adults partial hospitalization services, addiction treatment services and acute inpatient psychiatric care as well.

You should be able to get the help you need wherever you may be on your journey, and that’s what we want and provide, too.
