Recovery from Substance Abuse

Valle Vista Health System recognizes addiction and substance abuse as a disease that impacts both patients and their loved ones. Our treatment program helps adult patients develop a greater understanding of the cycle of substance abuse: how the disease affects the body and mind, and how to develop long-term strategies for a life free of drug use and other self-destructive behaviors. The level of intensity and duration of treatment flows on a continuum based on each patient’s individual needs.

INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT MODALITIES INCLUDE:

  • Level of Care Assessment
  • Medical detoxification
  • Withdrawal symptom management
  • Medical Evaluations
  • Individual and group therapy
  • Education and skill building
  • Medication management
  • Discharge planning

Valle Vista Health System offers inpatient and outpatient levels of care for adults including medication-assisted treatment through New Vista Outpatient Recovery Center. Patients seeking inpatient care for substance abuse will be housed in a separate unit where they can focus on healing and sobriety with other individuals going through the same journey to wellness.
