Our Continuum of Care

Valle Vista Health System offers a wide continuum of specialized mental health services for patients as young as age 5. Our facility, located in Greenwood, Indiana, provides treatment for psychiatric issues such as depression and schizophrenia, as well as drug and alcohol addiction. Levels of care include inpatient, girls residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Valle Vista’s clinical staff takes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment while providing individualized care to each patient.

Our 35+ year history of clinical success is based on a comprehensive treatment approach in which we help each patient evaluate and succeed in regaining a healthy lifestyle both in mind and body. Once we assess the addiction and/or psychiatric issues for an incoming patient, our staff develops a personalized plan for treatment, which can include various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, recreation therapy, and much more.

Our Adult Programs

The adult programs from Valle Vista Hospital include inpatient and outpatient services, as well as substance abuse care, at our residential treatment center in Indiana. Additionally, we have two outpatient opioid recovery centers in Greenwood, IN, and Indianapolis, IN.

Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment

Our mental health treatment center offers inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults in a highly-structured, supervised environment. Inpatient psychiatric treatment takes place at our residential treatment center and features program highlights such as 24-hour nursing care, interdisciplinary treatment and daily visits with a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner.

Inpatient Dual Diagnosis

Inpatient dual diagnosis treatment at a residential treatment center is designed for individuals with a mental health disorder and a co-occurring substance use disorder. Treatments and therapies are designed to address both issues, something that you might not get at a typical substance-use-only addiction treatment center.

Substance Use Disorder & Detox Program

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, substance abuse care and detox are key to overcoming making positive changes and living life in recovery. Our addiction treatment center can address many different types of substance use issues. For example, if you need an opioid treatment center, we can handle opioid addiction, if you need an alcohol treatment center, we can help with alcohol abuse – no matter what substance drives your addiction, we can be here to help.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Our PHP provides mental health treatment services throughout the week for most of the day. This program can help you or a loved one avoid a stay in a long-term mental health facility while also getting structured, evidence-based care.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Taking place for just a few hours a day for a few days per week, the adult intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for individuals who do not need care 24/7 and whose mental health needs may not require a long-term stay at a mental health treatment center.

Medication-Assisted Addiction Treatment at New Vista Outpatient Recovery Center

Our outpatient east Indiana treatment center offers medication-assisted addiction treatment at an outpatient level for adults with substance use issues. Individuals with addictions to opioids may find medically-assisted treatment (MAT) from this opioid treatment center beneficial for recovery.

Our Child and Adolescent Programs

The child and adolescent programs at our residential treatment center include inpatient treatment and outpatient treatment, providing multiple levels of care to meet your loved one’s needs.

Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment

At our east Indiana treatment center, we work to quickly stabilize your loved one and move them to less intensive levels of care. Inpatient psychiatric treatment is designed for children and adolescents who may benefit from a stay in a long-term mental health facility to address concerning mental health issues and behaviors.

Adolescent Individualized Intensive Outpatient Therapy

Our adolescent individualized intensive outpatient therapy is designed for teens ages 12-18 who need mental health services but do not require a stay in a long-term mental health facility. With part-time day and full-time day options and individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy, this program can help teens struggling with mental health issues take positive steps forward.

Girls Residential Treatment Program

Designed specifically for teen girls ages 12-18, the ultimate goal of our Girls Residential Treatment Program is to teach young women how to make safe, healthy choices when dealing with anger, sadness, anxiety and other emotions, while in the supportive and structured environment of a residential treatment center.
